OK - I've just installed 2.21 and can answer your question. Previously the Snap Focus distance was not a function that could be assigned to Function Pairing (see page 119 of your original handbook) - now it can be assigned. So for example you could pair AF/Snap on Fn1 with SnapFocusDistance on Fn2.
Anyway, having decided to use my PX all week for a change, I'm now going to have to try out these new features - especially the auto DRC.
