I think that your whole set of images really do convey an atmosphere of the place where you live. I think this kind of 'walk-about' photography can work well when it starts to build a whole picture and give an impression of local life and happenings. Nice work.

Thank you very much for your kind words game1980.
The GRD's Snap Mode and 28mm field of view is really nice to work with.

Come on guys, feel free to add your shots here :)

Benji,

I'm enjoying your posts - great to get a feel of where you live - so different to where I am.

One GRD4 feature I've been trying recently is the dynamic range compensation set on either weak or medium....it does raise the base ISO but is useful I think when shooting a subject both light & dark.....I tend to set the exposure compensation correctly for the bright bits and let the dynamic range compensation make the dark bits a bit brighter - not correct for every subject of course when some times you want the dark areas with no detail and that is why I've set it on the F2 button.....anyway, just an idea.....it has taken me 7 months to even try it...the GRD4 has so many options.

Hi Richard

Thank you for the kind words and the tip on the Dynamic Range. I didnt even know I could set that :)
I dont even know how to preset the F2 button. Each time I want to adjust it, I end up just forgetting about it and just....shoot. Ha!

After about 4 weeks with the GRD4, personally for me the best is to shoot at ISO 100 - 1600 on the Low to Medium contrast setting.
From there, I would have to work on the Post Processing. The initial sets from #1 till about #30, do not have any Post Processing done.
I will now venture into processing the shots to see how 'far I can go' :)

Its been awhile since I posted shots here :)

Continuing a series from Bangladesh.

#64 Dhaka University, Bangladesh. Had a short game of football with these kids at the field fronting the University.
The university is a key factor/location to their historical lead up to their Independence in 1971.

#66 Sylhet, Bangladesh. Was having tea with the locals along the industrial area while a crowd soon gathered. This was about a gathering of 20, all of whom are interested to see a 'yellow man' sit with them and chill. Absolutely F U N!
