Well I suppose I should introduce myself... The name that has been given to me by my parents answers on Mathios Koukakis. or Mathew in English language! I live in Greece in a great heroic island Crete.
40 years old and I started learning photography at the age of 24. I started with Nikon... but 4 years later accidentaly a Fujifilm was given to me as a gift. That was it!!! I fell in love and today I own 4 bodies and 9 lenses of Fujifilm company. (pretty mad according to my wife lol...) I shoot artistic photography portraits and everything that catch my eye I have no limit and labels on what I shoot landscapes or portraits etc...
Now I should explain the title of this post. Well I was skeptical on bying a new camera that is not Fujifilm I searched it online I saw some sample photos even without owning one I subscribes on this forum just to learn about that camera that some or every owner calls it magical an speaks about that with so much love.
Today on 25 of June I got a mail alert. My new camera Ricoh GRIIIX is here...
Started by checking the firmware and charging my camera as I bought also an extra battery. Looking forward to trying tomorrow and hopefully I will nt get dissapointed ( I think I will not) cause Fujifilm learned my about quality photos and recipes that I think Ricoh can overpower it
Nice to be in here hopping I can learn a lot from this forum and from you as I am a newbie on Ricoh
