Possibly, this is the explanation, how all the heroes and innocent victims in every good movie can always run up and up upstairs never really reaching the top and suddenly unexpectedly find themselves again down on the ground without meeting their hunters.

I like the colour version better

I think the door and building behind were under restoration. I will check it out next time I am passing...although as the door seems to have losts its number, finding it again could take some time!

I would guess that it was advertisign some theatre production, but I open it up to suggestions! Could make a long list? :?
