Pavel wrote an excellent review comparing the GW-2 and DW-6 wide angle lens's fitted to a GRD III: http://www.ricohforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=3143
Yes, the DW-6 fitted on the GH-2 (if you can find one) and clearly gave some good results. I've just bought a 2nd hand DW-6 (£49) and I've posted below some early results with the GRD IV. I've yet to modify the little link in the GH-2 so the EXIF data still shows 6mm focal length - however the GRD IV had no trouble in focusing with the DW-6 and there were no 'hybrid' issues either.....not sure yet what will happen on auto snap but I plan to sort out the link this afternoon so the camera with think there is a GW-2 in any case (the very slight difference 0.79x rather than x0.75x is unlikely to make any difference).
Cost for me was clearly a driver here....there don't seem to be many discounted or 2nd hand GW-2s at the moment in the UK but there are plenty of discounted or 2nd hand DW-6s - however, the DW-6 is also much lighter and more compact than the GW-2 and that's all a bonus for me.
