Zilina Carnival

Today we had a very nice Carnival show here in Zilina. It's held every year around the end of January. This year was really special because of number of carnival masks, visitors, but mainly because of celebration of 800 years from the first written record about Zilina.

Here are some processed photos form this show. A lot of more left to process And you know what? I started shooting with DSLR, but after some (short) time I switched to GRDII+GT1 and photographed most of this year's Carnival with this combo. And I'm really happy with the result! I experienced only one problem - GT1 flaring, which is visible on many shots. But usually, only in left/right bottom corner, which can be cropped out or masked by adding the vignette effect.

Thanks for comment Mark! I still have a lot of pictures to edit And today I returned from party with a lot of new pictures.. And there are still many unprocessed pics from the past.. Where to get some time to process them all?

Could I ask what ISO and F stop were u shooting at for the city scene R0012738?

Hi rurouni! Thanks for kind words! I'm sure, you will really like your GT-1! Hope it will arrive soon!

As for the mentioned shot, it was taken with f2.4, 1/16sec at ISO400 and -1.3EV compensation. It's grainy and dark, but I like it as it is.
