I absolutely love the Twilight series! I love the whole vampire meets human girl concept. It's so romantic.
what is your favorite book?

Many years ago I read Larry Niven's Ringworld - synopsis here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ringworld
I've not come across anything quite as good in SciFi since. I'd like to see it made into a movie.

I've read most of Larry's other books and found them entertaining and thought provoking.

I bought once, in a second hand library in Germany, B. Traven's The Death ship (Das Totenschiff, el barco de la muerte).
I did it because of its appealling cover, but got inmediately a stroke for its content, so human and so present.
Later I spent a lot of time learning theories about who this misterious writer was (much is still unkmown, probably a german anarchist)
He also wrote the book that later became filmed by John Houston "The treasure of Sierra Madre" which should be the best film adaptation ever.

I once read a book about a series of murders in the cat world the book was translated into English from Turkish, called Felideas i think the author was Akif princi,
The story is about a cat who befriends an old cat in his neighborhood and a series of murders happen and they both go about and solve them, a great book written with a neat perspective and a great twist at the end too!

Also if you want a really twisted book with great writing and lots of black humour then the wasp factory by Ian banks is worth a look........but it is messed up I have to warn you!
