Young Man and an Old Truck

Liked this snap of my son while in Estes Park, Colorado while picking up some ice for the cooler.

Thanks Don! BTW, company has me airlining to Philly tomorrow. Not sure what happens when I arrive.

Guess I need to look at some of Evans' work.

Nice one Duane,
We had the annual "Bay to Birdwood" car run on here yesterday.
Here's one truck I grabbed. A fun time by all.

That looks like a great time. I would have enjoyed being there too! Great shots.

Thanks Duane, its one small event that we have here that attacts people all over from Australia.
Its an event that has grown and because of Adelaide's size works -- http://www.baytobirdwood.com.au/
Many people line the very long drive and get a great view.

My wife's cousin was over with his old 1955 Austin and we met up. A lot dress up in period costume.
Many American and British cars this year as it was pre 1955 only and Australia's Holden was only made from 1949 onwards.

Your image in the first post is one to be proud of, I'd recommend a print for the wall.

Thanks Tim. That will be my plan when we get back from our trip as I have no where to hang the size photo I would make inside our trailer!

I happen to be working this week and left the family out west. We won't get home till the end of October.

Hi Duane,
the boy does have his fathers eyes, it has to be said! A nice dramatic piece of portraiture...

Thanks Andy, my son hates getting his picture taken. That's why he looks the way he does
