No, not yet, but maybe soon. After 40 years with photography with different cams (Praktica, Canon, Pentax), I bought the GR 1 in 1996 - and I loved it. Then came the GR 21 and 5 years later the GR digital. And then? I left my GR line, went to other brands, especially Leica and Olympus. Now at the moment, I‘m taking photographs with the Fujifilm X-T5. A wonderful cam, but with 75 years, you will not carry too much with you when you are travelling or walking around in your town. So my cam is mostly at home and I‘m taking my photographs with my iPhone 15 Pro Max which I‘m always carrying around with me. And it helped me sometimes more than my Fuji, especially on the ship in strong wind and high waves in front of the Lofoten Islands where I wanted to catch the Northern lights. I got wonderful photographs with my iPhone and its integrated long time exposure. But when I read about the new GR IV, I thought this could be a game changer. So I think I will get it as a kind of back to the roots. Maybe it will be the last cam in my life, maybe it‘s a little bit crazy to buy this cam when you are having a wonderful Fuji with all the objectives at home. But the Fuji will not help you as it‘s to heavy to carry it all the way around - and it‘s also too big for hand luggage in the airplane.
So what do you think about my idea?
Or should I wait for the iPhone 17 Pro and remain an iPhone photographer for the rest of my life???
