Test pushing the S10 to ISO 1600 underexposing -2 EV
Thought it was not fair to clone the biggest planet of our solar system... :D

Do you mean that the white dot is Jupiter?
As one who watches the sky myself, I believe that on the date the photo was taken, Venus was still above Jupiter, so perhaps the dot is Venus? In which case you had even a bit more help with illumination.... ;)

Nice shot, and I enjoyed your Leica gallery as well. What is the food in the "Sarah" shot?

You are spot on. Venus was just on top of Jupiter those days, slightly higher. At the photo time, only Venus, Jupiter, Mars and maybe Sirius (if I do not remember wrong) were visible in the sky! It was during twilight when you can still measure the elevation (altitude) angle with a sextant, with the rest of celestial objects appearing little by little following the magnitude order... ;)
