Django Reinhart is my most beloved one.
And a spanish "maestro": Paco de Lucía (I enjoy his recordings with another star: John McLaughlin)
 
Muddy Water is and will be the all time favorite slide guitar player of me, no body can play slide like Muddy 'cause it not about technic and tool it's about feeling and soul of the song. With out Muddy Rock would never be the same. :D
