This might not seem hard to guess what it is, but its the specific details that might be tough to guess. :? :roll:

The all the levels, brightness. contrast, colour temperature and saturation have been wildly adjusted to hide its true nature. :lol:

Pavel you are at least 50% correct, it is rock, the image is the surface of a chunk of meteorite that is about as big as a rubbish bin. :eek: Its true colour is more reddish. You could be 100% correct though as it looks beach worn and I am not sure where it was found!!

The title of the post was a too subtle hint - it must have travelled our solar system before hitting the earth. :shock: Its been on display in the Adelaide museum front entrance for decades, I can recall seeing it as a boy.
