I know, I will repeat myself, but the A12 28mm bokeh is surprisingly good Very smooth, very pleasant. The colors of which photo are closer to the reality? The DNG conversion appears somewhat more saturated, and maybe more real?
Hello Gerd, By looking these photos, I can understand your happiness, I must say I am a little bit jealous. Can you show us a iso1600 photo? It'll be very helpful.
It's klaatu, not me, who expressed his happiness in this thread and published the photo of the swimmer. On the other hand, I am a happy owner of a A12-28, too... Up to now, I did only a few night shots at high ISO, but maybe, in a couple of days I will also be able to demonstrate high ISO in daylight shots. But I will check also my recent shots...
Best regards, Gerd
PS: Here you will find small size samples at ISO800 and ISO3200 with a section at 100% for ISO3200: viewtopic.php?f=60&t=5495 (scroll down!)
I expanded this example (ISO800, ISO1600, ISO 3200 -- each with two sections at 100%): viewtopic.php?f=60&t=5517
Night example: viewtopic.php?f=60&t=5518&start=0

you are totaly right, the DNG looks more real and the colors are much better. All i did is to take the DNG, switch it to a JPEG and that`s it.....almost...
