Its fairly representative I've what I recall. We get this direct harsh light most of the year.

Wonderful colours! The slightly saturated yellow on top of the blue really shows! Nice Tim!

I like this one Tim - the line of poles, clouds and sea pull the eye to the right, accenting the "watch". Even the green patch makes the yellow hut more present.

This is rather elaborate for a mere watch-tower, looking as if a little Japanese has crept into it's design. I think it is this unusual aspect that makes this picture stand out for me (apart from the sea, sand and blue, blue sky which is in short supply at the moment, at least here in Vienna!)

Thank you all for the encouraging comments. I think you are right Andy, the roof line is a little Japanese to me.
It is quite an elaborate structure. It sits on a slab of concrete. I would only think its a surf lifesaving tower but may also be used for Shark watch too.
