Although I decided for GRD to do street shots, this little fellow surprised me with ability to capture such views...

It made me thing of trying tripod shots during Golden Hour... This camera is really awesome.

Nice pictures. I particularly like #1 - great composition. Did you shoot these as jpg in camera B&W or have you done some post processing? I've had my GRD4 for 9 months now but am still discovering new features.

Thanks for comment.
I shoot RAW and postprocess in LR 4.
First - light conditions in Singapore are often challenging, and LR helps me to control especially highlights and shadows. Other adjustments are (usually) marginal.
Second - did not try jpegs from camera yet. Thing to look at. Well, I`m still newbie, have GRD for less than 2 weeks...

Thanks - it's worth having a look at the jpegs - I can recommend the dynamic range compensation feature for highlight & shadow shooting. The camera has 2 modes - one is shot combining which requires a tripod and a stationary object...the other, which I use a lot...pushes-up the ISO a bit and does an in camera process. I tend to use the medium setting and expose for the highlights and let the camera sort out shadow detail. Of course if RAW and LR4 is your thing, then just carry on!

Hi Richard,
thanks for the tip. Next week I`ll have some time to open, and hopefully read the manual ;-)
Till now I`m too absorbed just shooting !! :D
