"Super" Moon

So they said... ok, nothing "so" different to our eyes, but it was a good excuse for a photo journey by night ;-)


It was a hard job to get a good view through the binoculars. Although not quite the quality "this" Moon deserved, but I'm quite happy with the result from a GX200 and a pair of binoculars ;-)

the magnified Moon is such a strange marvel that I could look at it all night...like looking down the road to all the past lives and souls that brought us into the beings we are...a ghostly, silent, intensely empty wonder that watches and waits, outshining whatever electronic 'marvels' that man has yet devised...

And a good attempt with the GX200, if I might say so!

Very good result Rui!

I really hoped to take a shot of super moon with P10 and mounted TCON14 (435mm). Unfortunately I was out of game because of clouds. So the best (largest) moon I was able to take so far is >here<. I hope I will have more luck next time, which is not so long from now (November 14, 2016)

Also trying from time to time, usually through summer vacations, photographing of our nearest space neighbour. Using binoculars was pretty tricky and the result was not very predictable when photographing with our old good compact Oly. So hat off that you were able to manage it so well Rui.
