I now have the GRD IV for about a month and I'm deeply impressed. Not necessarily with the picture quality, but with the handling. I've never had a camera which is such a joy to use. For me it's the nearly perfect street cam.

Following I want to share some of my pictures, if you want to see more you can go on my flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/j_petermann/

I agree with Pete, nice stuff.
Your use of titles makes me smile and almost laugh.
The last photo is you.

I'm off to your Flickr site....

Total agreement with you on the handling of the GRD.
At last I have found a camera I don't want to sell !
And your shots ? Very good. Made easier by the use of a great camera.

A nice set each with a story. What image settings are you using on the camera and how much PP are you doing?

To Richard
Most of the time I'm shooting in shutter priority 1/250sec. because I need a fast shutter to "freez" the scene. I shoot in raw and jpg(vga resolution). I don't need the jpg actually but I prefer to have the LCD in B&W, It's kind of a bug that you can't shoot raw only and have a B&W screen (maybe firmware update?)

ISO is mostly 80 to 800 (I don't go over iso 800)
Aperture is varying (Because of the small sensor it doesn't make a big diffrent if the aperture is 1.9 or 9 imo)

Focus is center (so I can be 99% sure that the focus is on the right place)
FN1: AE Lock (so I can better conrol the Exposure)
FN2 AF/Snap Focus ( I switch between them vary frequently)

Snap Focus: 1m - 2.5m (I can switch between them very fast witch the ADJ. Button)

Like I said I work with raw and transform them with silver efex pro 2 to B&W. I can highly recommend SEP2 imo it's the best B&W Software.

Hope I could help you if you have any further question just ask it...

Wow. I like them a lot. #2, 3, and 4 are my favorites. Amazing how you include humor into your pictures. This is one of the main goals while taking street snaps, I think.
