Hi,

Just joined and thought I'd post a few street shots by way of introduction. Its what I mostly do with the GRD3, although I occasionally do some landscapes, cityscapes, abstracts, etc.

Great set of photos and there is many more on your flickr! Very well done! You have an eye, reflexes and balls of a true streetshoter! :) Welcome here!

Spectacular! You've captured such wonderful expressions and actions! Very bold shots also. The use of grainy sepia enhances the mood of the pictures further. Well done :D

This is a great photo set catching interesting moments with a nice processing. On the other hand, the sloping horizon on some of the photos is not my cup of tea.

Welcome here, Ray, photograph and post more your photos here.

Amazing work, well done! Where are they taken? I'm Guessing in the deep south somewhere? :D

'very' fine set rambo ... i like very much when the pictures are given such 'age' , for the individual - life goes on as always, the glorification of colour changes nothing .

the first image (guys on bench) i think must be my favourite , though the second (perhaps Mennonites) is very close .

Where these images taken at Atlantic City ?

Kort .

:)

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The first six of them were taken in Atlantic City - good spot Kort. I spent a couple of days there last week. The other four were taken in my hometown of West Chester, Pennsylvania at the weekly farmer's market and a street fair. Not deep south - sort of an old colonial town out in what's become the Philadelphia exurbs. Nice to be part of such an international forum!

Hi,
Your pictures are absolutely wonderful. I guess you were very close to these people with the 28mm. I'm not sure about the post-treatment though, it's too much for me. I mean, simple b&w would have been enough in my opinion, your shots speak for themselves, they are so good they don't need any "effects" (not sure I'm clear here sorry).

Nice shots Ray. You take advantage of your physical location and catch people at interesting moments. When I saw your first shot I thought " Europe" only be taken home to a Philly suburb. Keep the shots coming. Our farmers market is not so colorful as yours, but I bet the food is just as good! :p Well almost as good as you get Bucks County produce and a longer growing season.
