Thanks Pavel, yes a large sensor is exactly what I want too. It would be nice to be able to use a shallow depth of field.

great shots !! i'm a beginner when it comes to using the ricoh. how did you manage to compose the shot like that ??

Thank you for commenting my street images startrash1! Shooting in the street is not a specific Ricoh issue. I recommend that you study the works of Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand and Henri Cartier-Bresson just to mention a few excellent street photographers. I very much like the first picture with the couple and the sky and houses and lamp post. Their faces look really special, and there's such an interesting mixture of shyness, kindness and tenderness.
