The colour ones are very nice, but the b&w is grate! I really like the luminosity of the grate image - the white paint (?) really adds to the effect of what is a very nicely prepped image. I love these little found details that so many people just walk past.
yes I think thats an interesting thing. but also what makes us like things like that? something to do with composition perhaps. I remember when I got interested in photography, and started reading books and magazines (no internet then!!) you start to see totaly diffrently. its what makes us photographers
I like the second and third one. B&W is nicely composed and processed. It's very pleasant to look at. The colors of first two shots are very film-like. Exactly what I like I'm not sure about composition of the last one. I miss some space on top and left. But on the other hand, who cares about more space? I guess you captured nice little moment of your son's life? And that's important!
hi Pavel yes as he's my we lad I think every shot of him is good! this picture is a big crop, as I didn't get close enough to him, and my brothers feet are in the frame!
Nick, I'm usually not a fan of heavy image manipulation, but what about cloning the shoe out? This should give you somewhat more room for cropping. I think it should not be so hard to clone it out with clone/stamp tool available in any good image editor. It should be possible even with Silkypix Pro.
