Taken a couple of years ago during a business trip to my native Manchester. I had a Canon F1-N with an FD 20-35mm f3.5 L as my walkabout lens. I can't remember precisely what film I was using but I suspect that it was probably one of the chromogenic B&W 400 ISO fils such as XP2 or BW400CN.
This is St Anne's church on the corner of St Anne's Square in Manchester. It's a nice shopping street but the afternoon gloom and the oik walking into the foreground caught my eye.
