Next week we should start to see some beautiful wild flowers and many of the trees greening up. Until then it’s the little things that have some color.
Fortunately the Ricoh’s do a great job with these small photo opportunities.
This bit of purple while small in size was apparently a big attraction to some.
Nick, thanks…I find it is a bit easier to handle with the big gun (d300s). The CX1 has its place but will be replaced with the CX3 pretty soon. Hopefully the macrozoom function of the 3 is at least equivalent to the earlier offerings.
BTW, spring you say? This is our two days old reality...
oh Pavel!
I fear that even in color the lack of flowers would have me quite depressed.
really a nice shot!
I was mentioning to a friend that some 20 years ago I was at an aquaintances place preparing for a fun run (10K) to be held the following day.
It was the beginning of April, 75 degree (f), I had a sunburn from the wonderful bright sun and clear sky. We had @ 50 people over for a bar b q and drinks.
The following morning I awoke to 30 degrees (f) and snow. I did not run that 'fun' run, but breakfast was very enjoyable.
Keep warm.
