Some signs of Spring.

Blow-in

Active Member
We've had a very mild winter (so far) but paradoxically with record snow falls on the mountains. I don't recall 2 frosty days in a row this winter - very strange. Anyway, our early azalea is in bloom. Generally the frost gets to it but fingers crossed.

The are all with the GXR A12 50 - the colour is so accurate.

Here, we've had a few harsh summer weeks gone past. Lately temps have been mild here too.
Your macros are nice and sharp and you've nailed the point of focus well.
I like #3 best

No much snow down in the city here this winter, too. Despite quite high day temperatures over 10˚C there still is enough snow on the slopes even of low altitudes. But the spring is likely to start (hopefully) as the snowdrops, daffodils, and coldsfeet are out already.

Those are lovely shades of purple, must brighten up the day nicely. I like the first one - the green leaf in focus in the center sort of attracts all the color around it.
You're not the only one with strange weather. Here we've had a winter with a record-breaking snowstorm, but otherwise one of the driest winters in the country's records. Hope your flowers hold out.

Magnificent azalea Richard! Here flowers a small branch in the vase, but not outside...
