Do we forgive you?
Yes, I think you are forgiven! ;)
Interesting shots of the future 'concept units...not sure that I would place some of them high on my wish list, but the storage unit looks very interesting.
Thanks for your detective work, Klaatu!

Looks crowded. :)

I'm not sure of those units, either.

Whats's the advantage of the storage unit? You can fit tens if not hundreds of SD cards into the same space.

May be the projector and printer units would be interesting, but wouldn't standalones be (automatically) higher quality/lower cost?

Thanks for photos Klaatu! Too bad I could not be there this time. I spent great two days at last Photokina.

I'm curious when is Ricoh going to release any of these non-lens units? The prospect of storage, projector and even printer unit sounds nice? Travels and vacations would be much easier with compact storage unit, without the need of computer access or 3rd party photo storage unit/viewer (which would mean yet another charger). And it may cost less than a typical photo storage unit, because the battery, processor and high resolution LCD is already in your your camera body. I doubt there is a photo storage unit with 3" 900k dots LCD? Printer unit could be great for parties, weddings and celebrations, where one could easily print out the best photos. Of course, only in small format. But still, it could be very useful for some photographers?

I would say that the storage until would allow you to back-up your SD card photos. On a long trip, this would bring a LOT of peace of mind...though I guess the alternative of a small laptop or dedicated photobank might be much more flexible (and perhaps cheaper!) ;)
