Shutter count [SOLVED]

How do I check the shutter count on my GR?

I have tried the Pentax forum online Shutter & Camera Counter with a jpeg file, but it didn't work.

Edit:
Ok, I found the way to do that by simultaneously pressing the Macro, Playback and the +button.

Shot count was 345, which by my estimations are correct.
But there are some other data there.
Does anyone know what they actually mean?

End count
Near end count
Half count
End table
Near end table
Half table

Thanks
Tony

I'm having trouble with this still. Pressing the aforementioned buttons while the camera is turned off takes me to a firmware upgrade screen/menu. But there is no shutter count. FWIW I am on 1.11 (just got the camera while on vacation and haven't had a chance to upgrade yet...camera is less than 6 hours old to me! :] )

Make sure that you really are pressing those 3 buttons simultaneously, otherwise you'll come to the firmware screen. I had to make a couple of attempts before it worked.

I must be uncoordinated because I've tried 2 dozen times with no luck. The reason this is important to me is b/c I bought this camera on a whim - no interest in buying it until I saw it in store (previously had a GR IV). So I'm not sure that I want to keep it yet and I can only return it with under 200 actuations. I typically do not trust the file numbering/naming system as that can get screwed up easily.

Do I hold the buttons or just press and release?

I have the same issue, I can't get this method to work on my GR.

But, there is another option that does. Found it online.

With the camera off, put the camera is Movie mode. Press and hold the Playback and Display buttons for a couple of seconds. This will bring you in the "Error History" menu. Now press the right/flash button. This will bring you to the "Mech Count" menu that shows the "SHUTTER" count.

You can also view the amount of times the camera has been powered on and off, as well as Normal and Macro AF's. Pretty neat.

Worked like a charm, thanks!!
