Having worked and lived down here (live in Essex, work in the City) for almost 13 years, I miss the north and Scotland more every day. You just wouldn't see that sort of thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there's no pushing and shoving, ever, but people seem to have the time to get on and off buses and trains without having to risk life and limb.
The trams in Manchester are busy but, for the most part, the people are polite and - heaven forbid - will stand up to let the elderly, infirm and pregnant sit down. When I was working up there last month, a young hard-looking and heavily tattooed skinhead gave his seat to an elderly and quite shaky lady. I almost went to shake his hand.
The London Underground is almost a war zone - especially coming up to Christmas and around the West End.
I really like your shot - very dynamic - but you're brave getting a camera out down there.....
