Set Snap Mode on My 1 How?

I want to setup GXR My 1 so that whenver I move there, I am into snap mode with say 1.5M distance.

How do I do this, please help?

Go to menu and in "Focus" section select "Snap". Then set "Snap Focus Distance" to 1.5m. And finally go to second settings tab (the one with arrow pad icon. Go to Reg. My Settings and here select the My position you wish to save your actual settings to. That's all. Now every time you switch to that My mode, it will use your actual predefined focus distance.

One more Q what does that square becoming green and focusing sound indicate? or shall I just ignore that and shoot and it will get shot at 1.5m focus?
