Sensitive joystick

Does anyone else have a problem with an over sensitive joystick on their CX1?

Mine makes it very difficult to select right, choosing instead to move up! This makes it nearly impossible to navigate through the menus.

Is it faulty?

Is this common?

Hello yoshi and welcome on board! I personally never experienced anything like that. It sounds to me like a problem with your camera? I guess it's still covered by warranty so maybe you should return it or ask for replacement? Or eventually ask for CX2?

My CX1 ajd-joystick is a joy to use, and I get no problems with accidental movement when I press it.

Having read in another forum about the difficulty of unwanted joystick movements, I found (and still do) it very easy to use and discovered so far (two weeks I own a CX2, 2.500 pics) no problems the way you mentioned.
