Is the eye meant to look scary? It's a lot sharper and higher contrast then the rest of the picture, so it looks a bit wicked, me thinks... as opposed to the rest of you, which looks very photo model-ish, I'd better add. ;-)

ahhhh thanks Tommy..."photo model-ish".....lol, and as for the scary eye....well.....scary?....I dont know...its just my eye.....thanks for the reply.

Yikes, that one is really scary, don't do that. ;-)

I like the first one best, but the second one is good too, but in a different way. The colors and shapes are washed out, ordinary and contrastless -- dull, even boring --, but then there is this message held up like in a protest meeting. The message is that "this picture says more than a thousand words", which is in contrast with the visual appearance of the picture. That can be seen as comical / provoking (which is the way I first perceived the picture), or it can mean that you (since this is a self portrait) are very boring to read (I hope not), or that one should not be fooled by the visual appearance when judging you (or any person).

Thanks Tommy....I hope I'm not too boring lol!.... I wanted to post some SP on my flickr stream and thought this would be fun....I was just playing really, look out there might be more, I've got some great ideas but fortunatly for you i don't have enough time...or quite know how to go about a few processes in gimp yet...lots to learn still!
