Great photo! Very well composed and processed. It may not be that detailed (when pixelpeeped) as GXR A12, but I'm quite sure it would look good even if printed up to A3? Of course, A12 would add some more details. But keep in mind that the GXR + A12 is still nowhere as pocketable and easy to carry as GRDIII
I was so pleased with the end result, especially as (in my mind's eye) I had envisaged more time, better light, etc, etc.
I continue to be amazed by the GRDIII - great lens, great UI, great portability. Whatever other cameras I get, I will never be without my GRD, in the same way as I was never without my GR1 in my days of film shooting.
I'm sure that a proper PP job would produce an even better image (this really is an area I need to learn more about), but for the time being this image is in my top ten faves - which considering I've been shooting for 20 years, is very gratifying.
I tend to prefer images that haven't been played with too much, but I can see how this shot may benefit from some fiddling.
Anyway, thanks again, and any comments/advice much appreciated.
I must say I like this a lot!
GRDIII (and you) really shining here...wonderful! I can see why you put it in your own personal Top 10.
Thanks for sharing,
Andy
