Blow-in

Active Member
My one for today taken over some 'set aside' sown with a variety of brasiccas, grass and wheat for the widlife.

I'm sticking with the GXR A12 50 this month (discipline) and am enjoying the experience more and more. I've returned the VF-2 to the orginal owner for a fair exchange of cash and find I prefer to use the LCD despite the failing ability to focus my eyes on anything less than metres away. It's probably because that's how I use the GRD4 most of the time.

Nice image Richard. Good depth of field and colour. I am tempted to put the A16 on step zoom, choose a focal length and stick with it for a month. If nothing else it will give me the incentive to look for pictures rather than snap away.

Garry,

Thanks. The only zoom I have now is the PX and it does not allow 'step' which is a shame as I find step zoom a useful tool. I think sticking with a focal length for a month is a good discipline - it certainly makes you think more about how you shoot - with the A16 you could ring the changes every month for some time.

I'll add one for today. This is almost an exact copy of one of the first I took with my GRD4. Almost. This is a 24mm version

Nice image! That A16 works well at the wide end. That's a very clean street - looks industrial - part of Carlisle?
