I bought a GR4mono about a month ago, mainly because I was disappointed by the b&w images I was able to make from a color sensor camera at high ISO (Sony RX100M3, Fujifilm X-T3, Sony A7R2). I find the camera quite amazing: the high ISO capability and the possibility to have direct manual control over shutter and aperture (with ISO set to auto) as well as the snap focus setting (I find the autofocus useless in low light, esp since I do not want to use the assisting light) brings me sufficiently close to one of my old favorite cameras, the Leica CL. But the Ricoh turns out pictures which are technically far superior to those of the Leica with Tri-X shot at 6400ASA. And with the IBIS of the GR4m it seems I can squeeze out another few steps by shooting at slower shutter speeds. I would have loved a ring around the lens for manual focusing though.
