recovered: old shot with GRD ---

I just skimmed my records and found that shot again, one of my very first with Ricoh GRD.
It shows a view over the Rhine valley near Bonn on a cold winter day in 2006, (very cold- as I can remember)

I first noticed layers, the rocks layer, the snow, the trees, the distant hills and finally the skyscape.
Its well composed and has subtle tones, a good image. Knowing it location now, adds a bit of the exotic.

I agree with Athena, it would work as a calendar image.

Yes, indeed, I inserted the picture into a selfmade calendar for 2007 (found that in my cellar-room).

Great photo Jonie. Having never seen snow first hand I think it would be very difficult to photograph.
