Any of you good people have a recommendation for free stitching software for panoramic shots? I don't seem to find anything that is very user-friendly. Either that, or I have to do some neuron yoga....
Thanks!
But also recently was pointed to Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE) which is supposedly very good: http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/ ... s/ivm/ice/
I will try that when I have some time, I also use photosynth on iPhone which is also from Microsoft.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to download or use these in the past, so I am continuing the search. Will try Hugin again....maybe I need more patience.
I regularly use AutoStitch though tried also the AutoPano/Hugin/PTStitcher combo some time ago. Additionally, Santa was so kind and brought me a lens starting in 15mm (35mm equivalent) for minimizing usage of any software.

PS: AutoStitch was an academic project of Vancouver's British Columbia University. I have lost track on whether it still is developed or what its current status is now. The home page of the project is http://www.cs.bath.ac.uk/brown/autostit ... titch.html.
