Prague with my GRDIII

You used the power of the GRD III well. Wonderful shots, brings back memories of visits 20 years ago.
How did you do the long exposure in shot 2, tripod?
Peter

Peter, thank you very much for your comment... Yes I used a small gorillapod and set on manual for the desired combination. You see what this little wonder can do! :D

Thanks for posting these images! I have lived in Prague for 25 years and I still like it. The staircase in the Astronomical Clock Tower is perfect! And, the saxophonist from the Old Town Square is becoming a symbol :)

Hi Mars, thank you for your comment and, knowing you Prague so well, I cannot be other than more than happy that you appreciate the pictures!

very very nice set. Great colours and tones as well as POV's. Did you consider reducing exposure bias to -0.3 or even 0.7 for shots towards the sky (No.1 & No.3) The whites look a bit blown in the corners at the cloud level. I often shoot at -3 or -7 and recover detail through lightroom to prevent blown areas.

You caught the guy with the sax at just the right moment and pp'd extremely well indeed.

The last picture is given a lovely depth via the fallen leaves in the foreground, the railing then leading your eyes on a journey like they are on rails. Super.

last night shots are really well exposed, light reflecting from the road is an added bonus.

What I can say, I'm so honored to receive these comments...

@Peter: thank you I really appreciate your comments and I'm happy that you like the pictures. Also thank you for the suggestion, I didn't think yet to shot with a lower exp but I will do for sure in the next shot sessions following your indications. I'm sure I will have good results.

@Sandy: thank you for your comments, I really appreciate them!

No problem friend. I recall reading on some forums that the grd3 is best left at -0.3 or 0.7 (although if shooting RAW....does it matter?) Also, some people found better rendition at iso100 rather than 64.

A fantastic set of photographs! I've never been to Prague. Really hope to make it one day. I like all of the photos but "One man band" and "Autumn" are outstanding.
