Pigeon Height

I got verdigo now.
Andy how does the GX perform in the cold?
Do you keep em under a coat & bring it out for a snap? Do you handle it with gloves or mittens?

Andy, do be careful those steps look awful dangerous.
Quite a spectacular image, does not seem to be anyone about though!

GX works great in the cold and rain (hopefully not tempting fate here, nor pushing my luck too far!)
I have tried fingerless gloves but really as you need the thumb for grip I mostly go barehanded. However I keep the GX tucked under my jacket between shots in the rain, mostly to protect the lens from those annoying drips...in snow, just keeping my hand around the body keeps it warm enough, I would say!
Glad you like the snow in these pictures...do they show any sign of melting in your 40 degrees? :o :)

True! I wonder where they all are? I can only see two or three people and the same number of moving cars...this must have been around 10 on a work day morning...right in the centre of Vienna...my guess is they were all huddled for warmth around their office kettles! ;)
I had my head stuck out of the roof for only a couple of minutes and was frozen rigid! :(
But having waited for months for the chance to get up there I was not about to refuse the offer! :)

Andy,

Great view, just don't fancy the ladder to get there.

Looks rather cold!
