Picture count on CX1

Is there a way to know how many pictures a CX1 camera has taken? Or is that only a DSLR feature?

Hi Marana and welcome here! The easiest way how to check the CX1 shutter count is to switch the mode dial to Scene mode, then while pressing the ADJ./OK button to DOWN direction, press and hold the Playback button for a second or two. In the appeared list of numbers check the "SH" line. This number represents the shutter count.

It's the same for CX2, except you don't need to switch it to Scene mode.

I have try it on My CX1 but doesn't works !

step : Put scene mode
press down adj/ok
press play 1 or 2 sec

doesn't work

Are you sure you pressing both ADJ button and Play button together? It's important to hold both buttons at the same time!

Yes I did it,
Missing to put camera off ...

Ok here the step :

Camera OFF
Put scene mode (Camera OFF)
Press ADJ/OK Down, together with touch play 1 at 2 sec

see SH line for the numBer shutter count

Wow!!! My GRD2 reads 7202. It´s a good number, considering that the camera have been working great so far, always in my pocket. Thanks again Pavel.

Thank you so much for this information, it works like a charm! My shutter count reads 1254 already, and I've only had it less than two weeks, guess I'm in love, :^) Do you know what the other info means?
