Photographers at carnival show

Probably the largest (and very specific) group of "masked" people at carnival show were the photographers :D Here are few of them..

There were many photographers. But I'm quite sure that only one with Ricoh GRD2 (me) and this Leica M8 guy..

Lots of heavy-duty lenses & camera out there today - I bet you felt happy to be carrying something rather smaller!

We set off for the big carnevale parade at a nearby town today... only to find that they'd postponed the event until next week due to unpredictable weather :-(

I had also DSLR with me but I somehow found the GRD + GT-1 better for my needs. Most probably because I selected the 100mm lens for portraits. But the people were constantly moving in large groups here and there so I found the wide focal length better. And it definitely was a good choice. Next time I will probably carry only GRD + GW1 for wide shots and GRDII + GT1 for a bit of tele ;)

The weather was not ideal also during our carnival. But in the end, it was not that bad. Fortunately, no snow or rain ;)
