A few GX100's from a high place. It was indeed super day, and I was proud not to drop the camera into the prosecco, so to speak! ;)

I'm liking these Andy. Good old GX100 comes through again.
They shield noisy modern technology from the sky line. OK to show stainless not OK to show or hear AC.
Beers with supper & chat on the roof top is great any time to get away from the street noise with friends.
The stainless steel chimneys are interesting. Like a pipe organ.
The little patch of green is a gem. And who wouldn't kill for it.
Its early evening & summer is coming.
Very little guano. I enjoyed that time out.

It looks you enjoyed nice roof-top adventure, Andy and prepared a great set of shots from it for us. Thanks for posting.

Peter

Nice set Andy! Good combination of old and new and nice use of sunset light in certain shots. My most favorite photo is "Sunset Stacks".

I would suggest to add a bit of contrast to "At Peace" & "Karlskirche II". Especially the second one is a classic tourist postcard shot ;) I also like the "Dark clock" photo for its framing and B&W tones. But I'm somehow disturbed by the skewed window frame. Do you think it can be fixed? I don't consider such editing a cheating ;)

Thanks guys for the comments! It is good to share photographic moments in life... :D

Pavel, I will have a go with Adobe on the colour images a little later (as a treat, as I am supposed to be studying right now!) All images posted to date were my Silkypix 'quick but good' fixes.
However, I totally agree with you on the clock picture, so as I need practice (lots!) with CS5, I thought I would give it a go. 1st attempt atached! ;) The initial fix produced a little barrel distortion, so I ran back through SP to ease it a little. I am quite sure that CS5 will do this also; I just seem to have mislayed the right control! :p
Cheers!
Andy
