I was out shooting with one of my other cameras today and came across this scene, It looked perfect for the GR and for B&W so I parked, walked back and grabbed the image.

I think the parking of the car was worth the effort.
I love the symmetry in this shot in addition to the lovely cloud structure and "foliage" on both sides of the highway. B&W was the correct choice. The truck and the two cars coming off the side slip to me are important to making it more interesting. I was intrigued by that "other camera" so explored your blog. You have some superb shots there and I may quiz you some time on that X100s.

Thanks for taking the time to post.

Thanks Austin,

I did take another shot but when the truck appeared it was more balanced and appeared more powerful.

You are right, the "other camera" was the X100s with the TCL-X100 telephoto fitted, it is a great combo and after the original Leica analogues is one of the most tactile digital cameras I have used with IQ to match.

A great picture with good composition and processing sure worth of stopping. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the comments Folks,

The GR is certainly a camera worthy of always having with you, it delivers the goods in a very unassuming manner.

I do need to shoot more B&W with it though but the colour it produces is so gooooooooood!
