OCTOBER 2011 - PAST IT'S SELL-BY DATE

Thank you all who participated in the September contest (you can vote here). Let's start with the October contest! ;)

Theme:
The contest theme for this month is "PAST IT'S SELL-BY DATE" (theme suggested by Wiener - winner of the August contest).

Here is Andy's description of the theme:
For the October theme I would like to suggest "Past it's Sell-By Date". Anything that has fallen into a poor state of repair would do, whether a car, house or whatever...

Rules:
You must post one photo right in reply to this post. Please, do not link them from other sites! Use the "Upload Attachment" instead.
Photo of something new must be taken with Ricoh camera!
The max size of the photo is limited to 1024x768 and must contain EXIF!
Please guys, make sure your photo contains EXIF! Entries without EXIF will be disqualified! Tip for LR3 users, make sure the "limit file size" option is disabled during export!
Ricoh film camera entries (without EXIF) are allowed, but only from people with previous forum activity and history (some previously posted Ricoh analog photos).

The deadline for posting contest photos is 31.10.2011 at 12PM forum time

Here you can learn how to upload (please, do not link) the photos right in forum post...

Contest Prizes:
Also this time, there will be some really interesting HW prizes (big thanks to our sponsors Ricoh and Alpha Digital!). Of course, there will be also the usual set of SW prizes from Mediachance and Pixelmator!

The winner will have an option to pick either the HW or SW prize. Winner will also have an option to pick anything from the below listed prizes (just one of them of course;) ).
HW prizes for this month:
- Ricoh GR pin, neck strap
- Ricoh backpack, Ricoh pen, Ricoh stickers, microfiber cloth for lens

SW prizes for this month:
- SILKYPIX Developer Studio, kindly provided by Ichikawa soft laboratory.
- Pixelmator - Image and Photo editor for Mac OS X, kindly provided by Pixelmator developers.
Or any of these, kindly provided by Mediachance...
- Dynamic Auto Painter
- Dynamic Photo HDR
- PhotoBrush
- DCE AutoEnhance
- Pure Image NR

In addition, the winner will be honored to suggest a contest theme for next month!

Good luck everyone!

PS: Please folks, give your photos a reasonable tittle! The best would be to enter the tittle in the "File Comment" box along with your uploaded photo. At the end of each month I'm hunting for the titles over the entire post and sometimes I have no other option than to use "unnamed", which is somewhat silly ;)

I'm in Savannah, Georgia and grabbed this one today: Old man on his phone

- Old Chums -
A pair of old chums parked for the rest of their days.
I guess someone could restore them... but.. they are way past sell-by date, as is the rest of the stuff in there.

Post process in Silkypix Pro. Border added in Irfanview.
I had to resist converting to BW, ferric oxide has a tone of its own.

I would like to change my photo (sent on 3 rd Oct) and therefore send this one for the contest.
Probably it is the first contest-pic taken with the A 12 Mount Module...?

@ Pavel: could you please help me and delete my first mail from 3 rd of October, since I have no idea how to do that ? Thanks in advance !

Here is my first contribution. Im not sure if it is allowed to post process the image. I used photoshop to adjust the color balance to make it look more of what I saw when I took the photo.
