No exitement here for the upcoming GR IVx?

There is as new feature of 4K recording at least and the lens is upgraded to an 8 element in 6 groups, instead of the IIIx's lens that is 7/5, so there has been real work done on that.
What else was there, otherwise quite similar to the IV?
I suspect the price will be around 1600-1800€.

I'm cautiously optimistic for some improvements, but like with the IV I waited and was rewarded with the IV Monochrome. Since I have a IIIx yet, hopefully we'll see a IVx Monochrome six to eight months after release.

Maybe we'll also see some firmware updates that trickle new features to the IV after a couple months with the IVx, like that 4K video spec.

If that's possible by just an firmware update on the IV, then it will most likely come to the other IV models also, it just might have to do with the gathering heat on the sensor and the required memory and processor capacity?
Well, we have to wait and see, will gladly look into the presale reviews of it from a few users who might be able to push it and do a real comparison if thats needed.
I am more intrigued on the updated lens and how it will perform, that is anyway the most important piece in the camera Plus how it's working together with the sensor.
