Nice find. Take that flash off, put on OVF or EVF.

Intelligent idea, What about a double on. Beside flash a detachable wireless EVF ( though I could settle on cable too). That would be something. And all that in waterproofed, exchangable lens body. Instead of a stupid toy like Pentax Q, Ricoh could improve on Nikon 1 AW idea. 1" sensor and the lot.
Big news by the way.
Ricoh Imaging has announced it will be showing four 'reference products' at the forthcoming CP+ trade show in Yokohama, Japan. Also on show will be a telephoto macro prime lens for the small sensor Q-mount system and a DSLR accessory for making digital captures from slide and negative film! Great stuff my GOD!
Ricoh is just screwing up us the faithfull followers. Shame on you! :x

That wireless flash sounds like something good to me, at least for these which can make good use of it.
Would be great if Ricoh could re-introduce IR, radio or Wlan remote controller again. Them had it for some of their early digital cameras with the RDC-6000 being the last one to support it I think. And now we'r stuck with that filthy wired CA-1.
