New CX1 firmware 1.16 available to download

Few day ago, Ricoh announced first correction FW for CX1.

Fixes:
- If you take pictures with the M-Cont. Plus, a MP file may be recorded with missing a partial frame(s).
- In the Focus-Bracketing, a self-timer feature may not work properly.
- Corrected a part of the information on a file in the MPO / JPEG format to comply with the Multi-Picture Format.

I did not try this new FW yet, but I'm planning to install it today and check if there are any differences in the image processing.

Good on Ricoh for releasing fixes and letting us upgrade them. I'm always wondering why other camera manufacturers dont do updates? Is their code so perfect they dont need to? or do they just ignore faults?

Ricoh also amaze me by continuing to support their old products by offering improvements to the firmware where they can. I saw a number of improvements to the GRD firmware when the GRD II was the current model.
