New building work in my City

Cranes for buildings. And some unusual art in a local park in the city

Ricoh GRD II. An unexciting picture but one of my first attempts with Capture One (in trial mode). Might need more sharpening and less noise reduction?

It is really a big crane for Heavy Construction works used in lifting things and materials to where it will be used. Tall structures needs Crane Equipments for if not the construction will be very slow. The peoples working in the structure for the lifting and shifting of stuffs is minimized because this Equipment has taken their place.

I see the image very soft and the sky looks unreal, too violet. The first shots processed with new software use to be a challenge

Yes, this was an image PP some time ago, and I seem to recall it didnt look this bad, I am fairly sure it was done on another much older monitor which was not calibrated, it certainly looks very poor on my new one. I will have a dig for the image and redo!

I think a part of the problem is caused by too high JPEG compression? There seems to be visible some compression artifacts in the sky and visibly degraded red parts. I personally use 95-7% compression.
