Mysterious Towers

If you have any idea what these towers might be good for, let us remaining know.
There is a few more of them in that area. All the same - up to 10m high, made of iron, now rusty.
The water came later probably, after damming a creek flowing there.

As the towers are for people I would say its to observe birds
Or a alien craft mooring points. It's gotta be one of those two.

What is the exact location?

Some interesting ideas have been mentioned above , but to be honest, I think the mystery will remain a mystery for some time yet.
Rog, it is an area lying quite near a civil residential zone so a military training area sounds rather improbably currently.
Nevertheless, if the towers have been there for over 100 years now, who knows.
Maybe they are some early trials of Gustave Eiffel?
