My new hardware

Wow, those are great. Is that the new Leica 50mm Summicron you're waiting for???

The Zeiss C Sonnar can have focus shift, but mine seems optimized for f/1.5 and focuses perfectly. It has a unique look and while it works just about normally at around f/5.6 and up it seems destined to shoot at f/1.5 and it works best with people shots. But you have to like its look. I love it!

Hi Duane,
I've just watched your unboxing video. Thanks for posting, it gives a lot more insight to your character. It conveys more about yourself than you realize.
I think we come to a point in our lifetime, where we say, what the heck, just need to do it, particularly if you can find the funds. I feel you made the right decision.
The increased IQ and FF will benefit your images, but less tangible is the experiences and interest in the hobby is invaluable to the soul.

Enjoy.

PS: I am curious have you kept the GXR? or is that gone or going?
PPS: Liked the Spyderco!

I still have the GXR. My wife may use it with the A12 28mm module. I may sell the M mount module. We'll see.

BTW, Spyderco and Emerson knives are my other downfall.
