My new GR IV

Did you watch the last 2 videos of Samuel about the GR IV? Please check for this highlight/glow/mist filter effect in your images.

Unfortunately, Dirk, I didn't find what you meant. But maybe I'll come across the videos again sometime.
 
There was a German video on his German channel.

But he also showed it in his English GR4 livestream. Start watching at around minute 57:

 
What do you think about the quality of your unit? Are you satisfied? There is a lot of complaining about first batch quality.

Have you found something more about this, some intentional thing that Ricoh has implemented and is it only done by software edits or thru some hardware thing?
If there is a type of hdf-filter effect in the regular model, then because of that it was also good that I waited to not get the IV.
On a monochrome version it might work better, but still all kind of mistfilter effects or soft contrast is a dislike for me personally, it just makes things look like a disposable camera shot, which has it's places pf course, but if the choice can't be made by myself then, I'll skip the offered choice and choose something else.
