Medieval day in Zilina

Last Friday, there was a medieval day in Zilina. Some horses, many fully armed men in armor, some fights, medieval food and so on. Quite nice day and weather was good too. Here are some pics...













BTW, as several times in the past, I was stopped by a complete stranger asking me about the grd and particularly the attached CV minifinder. We spent few minutes discussing the cameras. Funny thing how GRD effects on people

A medieval fair it's always an excelent oportunity for a photographer. You sure had some fun!

I also like to see the anacronysm between the past and present images... I'm not sure if it is an intended pun or not, but I love that image with the iron maiden ;-)

Yes, the Iron Maiden T-shirt is a brilliant catch. I laughed out loud when I saw the unexpected connection. Who knows, maybe he is waiting for a knight in shining armor? ;-)

And the last one, that's chewbacca and a guy in star trek uniform, right? :lol:

Thanks for comments guys! Yes, I also like the man with Iron Maiden t-shirt I noticed the joke right after I took the photo, so it was completely unplanned. I will post some more photos once processed. Tomorrow there will be another opportunity to take some nice street photos in Zilina. There will be installed large chess and some small chess tables and people will play right under the sky. I hope to take some pictures.
