MAY 2012 - COLOURS

Very strange, I get this message, when I want to attach an image:
The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 1600 pixels wide and 900 pixels high. The submitted image is 800 pixels wide and 1067 pixels high.
I did it before in other contests without difficulties.

Each forum has its own requirements for sizes. Your image is 1067 pixels high. It just needs to be reduced in size to 900....

Thank you very much Marcus!
I am really silly, I was fixed to the total weight, confounding high and largeness.

In this tower I can see every evening the sun (if there are no clouds) going down.

Very nice entries, really hard to prefer one over the other. Thank you all for sharing these photos with us. As a newby I'd like to ask: Is cropping allowed in the contest?

Best regards,
wok

Greetings Wok! Yep, cropping is allowed. As far as I know, anything goes really, just as long as your EXIF shows and you took the picture with a Ricoh camera (only in the case of the competitions though - pictures taken with other cameras are allowed in the open gallery and some other areas). Also, you must make sure you have resized your pics to the correct dimensions for easier viewing/loading on the forum. I still stick to the smaller resizing limit that was in place when I first joined (max of 1024 x 768), as I find the new increased limit (1200 x 800) is too large for my liking (and I have a 21.5 inch widescreen monitor). But it's up to you. As long as you keep within the resizing limits, we'll be able to view your pictures properly when we click on them to see the larger versions, and we'll be able to load the pages faster. Hope this helps ;) .

Thank you Athena, and greetings to the other side of the planet :)
